He’s been called an absolute loyalist and his role as CEO has been nothing short of a fireman’s – that in short describes Charles O. ‘Chuck’ Prince, III CEO, Citigroup, the man in charge of the largest financial entity in the world, worth a blinding $270 billion at NYSE. The dynamic CEO is again in the midst of criticism currently. Citigroup’s current spate of woes, including rising costs and an exodus of talent are being linked to Prince’s ‘incompetent’ leadership. But then, this is definitely not the first time for this marathon man.
