New dress up games

Walk into a swanky mall or pass by a high street in that up market area in your city and what do you see? Big banners staring at you – 50% off , two plus three free, scratch and win a Mercedes et al. Hordes of haute couture players are clamouring to grab your eye-balls with their latest offerings. Apparel major Raymond, for instance, has joined hands with Grotto SpA of Italy to launch the ritzy up market jeans brand – Gas. Th e company is opening exclusive Gas outlets in the capital to entice the chic consumers. However, Raymond is not treading down an easy path, considering Arvind, with over 20 foreign brands in its portfolio, is firmly entrenched in the Indian soil and is seeking more exclusive tie-ups with global brands. The company will unleash a new collection for the period of October-November. “This year, too, you will see many of our new launches and October will be the perfect time for such launches,” feels Sumeet Yadav, VP, Arvind Brands.
